KK Wind Solutions appoints new CEO

After almost nine years in KK Wind Solutions, Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen wishes to pursue new ventures and will hand over to Mauricio Quintana, most recently Group Senior Vice President and Global Head of Service, Power Grids Division at ABB. The change will take place in Q1 2022, and Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen will after a transition period, continue to work as an independent investor and advisor to, amongst others, A.P. Moller Holding.

Mauricio Quintana brings nearly 30 years of strong industry experience from blue-chip businesses such as ABB and United Technologies (UTX), and renewable companies like EcoMerit Technologies and Clipper Windpower. Mauricio Quintana (54) is from Costa Rica and has global experience from positions in USA, including California, Connecticut and Texas, as well as positions in Switzerland and Costa Rica. In his 8 years with ABB, he amongst other responsibilities, led the rebuilding of Power Grid service, a global multi-billion USD business, resulting in increased growth, profitability, and significant shareholder value to ABB
