Cutting-edge controllers
We provide robust controllers known for their dependable operation and established track record of high performance.
Our time-tested controller platforms deliver exceptional performance and are meticulously engineered to endure the challenging environmental conditions, both onshore and offshore.
Legacy WTC3 controllers
With thousands of modules in operation at sites both on- and offshore, our legacy controllers have proven the test of time.
WTC3 Main controller
WTC3 Main controller, with dedicated design for operation in wind turbines both on- and offshore.
WTC3 Hub module
WTC3 Hub Module ensures reliable control of the pitch position in wind turbines, contributing to lowering O&M costs for your wind power plant.
WTC3 Grid module
Reliable grid monitoring module to supports safe and reliable operation of wind turbines with or without voltage transformers.
Pioneering control technology
1978
The company founders, Kai F. Pedersen and Knud V. Jensen, built one of the world’s first electrical control systems for a wind turbine, the Riisager 22kW turbine.
1983
We continue to develop early control systems for wind turbines. It is installed in a 50kW Windmatic.
1985
We launch the industry’s first SCADA system for turbine monitoring, improving access to data on turbine condition and performance.
1990
We partner with Bonus Energy (later to become Siemens Gamesa), becoming its sole supplier of control systems.
1991
The first offshore wind farm in the world is built at Vindeby, Denmark, equipped with our control and surveillance systems.
2002
A new control system for wind turbines, WTC3, is launched and becomes our key product in the following years.
2014
We launch the new WTC6 controller and start retrofitting control systems in Vestas and Siemens Gamesa turbines.
2020
The MC60 string controller is launched and used alongside the WTC6 controller in a variety of energy subsystems
2022
Leveraging our proficiency in turbine controls, we venture into the Power-to-X (PtX) and form new partnerships.
